Brent Faddies’s, aka DJ BFAD, main goal is that everyone has fun and enjoys themselves while really soaking in the music. The enjoyment from the crowd fuels his passion and pleasure in the work he does. He undoubtedly keeps the dance floor moving, but his versatility in his craft allows him to easily adapt to create the perfect backdrop for social conversations or spark a corporate event into something memorable. DJ BFAD can cater events depending on my clients’ needs, and the direction the night takes. He definitely has his own tastes when it comes to music, which has positively opened doors to many connections through referrals. Attendees and organizers appreciate his selections and trust Brent to provide the perfect soundtrack for any event.
CAREER BACKGROUND
Brent has had a deep passion for music since he was a young kid. He would sit for hours just playing records and would bring them in for show and tell at school whenever I could. His love and commitment for music flourished as he grew older, fueling my success as one of the Lower Mainland’s best DJs.
A natural progression that turned into a career. After moving to London to chase the music dream, he spent several years working in a record store, where he built his vast and comprehensive musical tastes and knowledge. When he moved back to Canada, that’s when DJ BFAD took over to finally execute all the skills and tricks he learned over the years.

“My clients can relax because they know exactly who and what they’re going to get on the day of their event. My reputation is built on attention to detail and a determination to be prepared for every event. I make it a point to get to know whoever is throwing the event. I dive deep to get to know what they want, and when I show up, it feels like I’ve already done the event in my head.”
At the end of the day, DJ BFAD’s priority is simple: to create an experience where everyone can have a great time. Putting something out there that your crowd can enjoy and helping them have a good time is his main goal for every event he plays.
