Thorin Loeks is an indie folk singer-songwriter from the Yukon Territory, currently based in Vancouver, Canada. Thor is also an accomplished cover musician who has played at several venues in greater Vancouver.
THORIN’S CAREER BACKGROUND
Over the last 10 years, Thor has bicycled and canoed over 25,000 km across North America with a guitar on a series of human powered adventures that have deeply influenced and inspired his musical style. Most recently he paddled a canoe 8000 km coast to coast across North America which he completed in May 2026. His fourth album of original music, called "The Journey" will be released in August 2026.

Primarily a vocalist, and acoustic guitarist, Thor's musical style is warm, genuine, and heartfelt. It has been described as both captivating and easy listening.
He has adapted a variety of popular songs and genres into his warm acoustic style that has been compared to Gordon Lightfoot, The Lumineers, Gregory Alan Isakov, Coldplay, and John Mayer. He can learn and adapt requested songs with ease based on the venue and occasion.
