Quickness (Alternative, Rock, Modern Pop) is a four-piece dance band known for their legendary live performances. One moment you’re shouting along to a high-energy punk anthem, the next, you're swaying to the intimacy of an acoustic breakdown. Their versatility and showmanship have earned them a dedicated following—and six international radio awards.
Fronted by dynamic vocalist Jacob Dryden, Quickness seamlessly blends original music with an extensive repertoire of over 500 crowd-favorite covers, making them a go-to act for festivals, galas, fundraisers, weddings, and private events. With four vocalists and rich four-part harmonies, they bring unmatched musical depth and energy to every performance.
Their latest single, “Paradise” (released March 1, 2025 and on medium rotation on Canadian rock radio), is a melodic burst of Alternative Punk, set on the beach while adventure camping.
The band’s previous single, “Training a Dog” (debuted on November 1, 2024, Evolution 107.9 FM), remains in daily rotation and is an ambitious leap into deeper waters, Jacob’s voice resonating with the authenticity of lived experience.
The lyrics are both heartfelt and confessional, the darker subject matter here is likely the reason Quickness gets comparisons to Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, City and Colour, and Alice in Chains.
Their single, “Daydream,” debuted in 2022 on FM 102.7 The Peak alongside a widely viewed music video.
With over 800 live shows across Canada and two full-length albums under their belt, Quickness is preparing to release their third album in Spring 2025. Their live resume includes appearances on live television, major motion pictures, TV movies, and halftime shows for major sporting events.
