Max Mackrill takes any style of music and throws his own acoustic spin on it. Through intricate looping and guitar playing, expect to hear the energy of a band with many layers, including bass, percussion and vocal harmony. Can also provide services with his 4-piece soul band “SUGAR”@sugar.the.band, 3-piece trio (rock, blues, classic rock) band “The Wedding Crashers” @wearetheweddingcrashers and duos available on request. SUGAR can also be reimagined acoustically into a jazzier format.
CAREER BACKGROUND
From open mics to the main stage at Rifflandia, Max has come a long way in two years. Entirely self-taught, Max has worked his way up to being one of the busiest musicians on Vancouver island, regularly playing 6 nights a week!
